KONTEMPERERRIE KUNST

In the group exhibition "Kontempererrie Kunst" curated by Tycho Sok, local makers from various disciplines respond to Amsterdam in 2024. Driven by the love for their city, this exhibition not only celebrates the beauty, the raw edges and the stubbornness of the people of Amsterdam, but also criticizes it. social themes such as gentrification, degradation and increasing individualism. For this exhibition at Vrij Paleis, right next to Paleis op de dam, I decided to create an image on Dam square and afterwords move the items from the picture in to the exhibition it self. Letting people choose an item to take home in combination with a print of the Dam.
